Do you have some extra inventory you’re looking to liquidate? Offer it to shoppers or buyers.
Important Note: Ensure that you have collected payment plus shipping costs and verified your buyer prior to shipping any products out. Rebate Jet is not responsible for disputes between buyers and sellers and there is no money exchanged for liquidation offers on the Rebate Jet platform.
How to Create a Liquidation Offer on Rebate Jet
First login as a seller and click on Liquidation > Create New
Choose the marketplace and click next. Currently we only offer liquidations for inventory based in the continental United States.
In the Information tab under Item Location, choose whether your inventory is located at Amazon FBA (an Amazon fulfillment center) or at a custom location (if chosen you’ll add the address next under settings).
If your inventory is located at Amazon Fulfillment Centers, you can auto-populate the information from your listing into Rebate Jet by entering the ASIN in the ASIN field and clicking the “Get Info” button.
If your inventory is in another location within the US, you’ll manually input all of the listing information. At a minimum you must fill out the Title and Description. However, to increase your chances for receiving offers, you’ll want to put as much information here as possible. Including uploading several product photos.
Finish filling out the information and click Next.
In the Setting Tab, if you’re inventory is at Amazon, you’ll simply fill out the number of units you have for sale and the unit cost. As you can see in the below image, I’ve set this offer for 50 available units and a unit cost of .50. You can include this shipping rate into your costs or charge separately for shipping and work that into the agreement with your buyer. You can see Rebate Jet calculates the total offer for me in parentheses next to Cost Per Unit
Note: If you accept a liquidation offer on your items, it will cost you .50 per unit to do a removal order from Amazon so set your pricing accordingly (see below for information on how to do a removal order).
Pricing Tips: Remember this is a liquidation offer and buyers offers will be extremely low. You should not aim to break even on a liquidation offer but recover some costs instead.
If your inventory is set to a custom location, the settings window will look like this and you’ll fill out all the required fields.
Click Submit and you’ll see the following message.
You can check the status of your liquidation offers anytime in your dashboard under Liquidation > My Campaigns
Important Note: Ensure that you have collected payment and verified your buyer prior to shipping any products out. Rebate Jet is not responsible for disputes between buyers and sellers and there is no money exchanged for liquidation offers on the Rebate Jet platform.
